2,5,7-trihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2,3-dihydro-4H-chromen-4-one is a tetrahydroxyflavanone carrying the hydroxy groups at positions 2, 4', 5 and 7. It has a role as a plant metabolite. It is a member of 2-hydroxyflavanones and a tetrahydroxyflavanone. The recombinant protein exhibits high FNS I activity catalyzing the conversion of naringenin to apigenin and 2-Hydroxynaringenin.
