Hederagenin 28-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside is a triterpenoid saponin that is the carboxylic ester obtained by the formal condensation of the carboxy group of hederagenin with beta-D-glucopyranose. It has been isolated from Juglans sinensis. It has a role as an anti-inflammatory agent and a plant metabolite. It is a beta-D-glucoside, a pentacyclic triterpenoid, a carboxylic ester, a triterpenoid saponin and a monosaccharide derivative. It is functionally related to a hederagenin.
